I started taking citrus bergamot 500 milligrams about 1 year ago. There was a little progress lowering my cholesterol but not as much as I expected. I upped the dosage to 1000 milligrams about 9 months ago and started seeing the cholesterol numbers dropping more. It just takes time to get working in your system, at least with me it did. So I am a fan and won’t be without it. I also take Naomi’s Berberine 500 milligrams and try to avoid refined sugar. ng

2-3 years ago my doctor and cardiologist wanted to put me on cholesterol meds. I had just had covid 19 and was on steroids, so my cholesterol had shot up considerably. I asked if I could hold off and try taking the citrus bergamot. I was surprised that my cardiologist knew of it and ok'd it as well. I have watched my diet, try to walk more often and have been taking the citrus bergamot since then. My cholesterol is much lower, though still watching it. My triglycerides really improved and caught my doctor's eye. Statistically I am still at some risk, and they are doing blood tests every six months. I let them know it was most likely the citrus bergamot that made the difference.
