Matcha Green Tea Snacks
These are a great on – the – go snack that helps you enjoy more healthy fats as well as polyphenols like EGCG from matcha green tea, bergamot and Ceylon cinnamon.
1/2 cup coconut butter
1/4 cup coconut cream (or cream from canned coconut milk)
1/4 cup Simply GOODFATS Organic Coconut Oil
1 – 2 teaspoons matcha green tea powder
5 – 10 drops bergamot extract
1/4 teaspoon Himalayan sea salt
dash of Ceylon cinnamon
1 teaspoon monk fruit (optional)
shredded unsweetened coconut
Melt the coconut butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add in the coconut cream and whisk in the coconut oil. Add the matcha green tea, bergamot, salt, cinnamon, and sweetener (if using) and stir to combine, about 2 – 3 minutes.
Prepare a mini muffin pan with parchment liners. Pour the match mixture into tins. Sprinkle with shredded coconut and place in the refrigerator for 2 – 3 hours until they set.
Store in a glass container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Enjoy!
