Holy Basil is a well – known adaptogenic herb used in the Ayurvedic tradition useful for promoting homeostasis in the body. Naturally spicy with the essence of clove, Holy Basil pairs great with the zest of an orange and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Serves: 1 serving
• 1 Holy Basil tea bag
• 1 teaspoon tea seed oil
• 1/2 teaspoon zest of orange or lemon
• Dash of Ceylon cinnamon
Steep tea bag in boiling water for 10 minutes then discard the tea bag (or save for a future steep). Stir (or blend) oil, zest and cinnamon.
